The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has issued a recall of specific batches of Crowe's Farm Black & White Pudding Roulade due to incorrect use-by dates.

Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batches from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale. 

Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batches after the correct use-by date. 

The below batches of Crowe's Farm Black & White Pudding Roulade are being recalled due to incorrect use-by dates printed on the front of packs. The correct use-by dates are in the table below.

Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale. 

FSAI recalls

This is the latest in a number of recalls announced by the FSAI.

The authority earlier this month (April 9) recalled Pettitt's Cook at Home Basil & Pesto Chicken Fillets due to the presence of salmonella.

Although the implicated batch is past its use-by date, the product is suitable for home freezing.

Consumers are advised to check their freezers for the implicated batch and recall notices will also be displayed at point-of-sale.

The FSAI is advising consumers not to eat the implicated batch, which is the 380g pack with a use by date of 30/03/2026.

Also on April 9, the FSAI recalled batches of Tesco Finest Summer Edition Chocolate Affogato Dessert, pack size 538g, due to the possible presence of small pieces of clear plastic from the packaging.

Batches include all best before date codes up to and including April 2027.

Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale in Tesco stores. 

Last month, the FSAI issued a recall notice for specific batches of tortilla wraps.

Dunnes Stores recalled batches of its Plain Tortilla Wraps due to the possible presence of metal pieces. 

The recalled batches had a pack size of 512g and best before dates: 29/5/2026; 30/5/2026; and 31/5/2026.
