The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) has issued an update on payments made under various farm schemes this week.
Over €2.9 million was paid out to farmers this week under a number of schemes.
The department confirmed that under the 2025 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS), €469,810 was paid this week.
118,596 farmers have now been paid over €841.7 million through these schemes.
The BISS/CRISS figure above includes the 2025 Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers of €36.9 million and the 2025 National Reserve of €3 million, DAFM said.
Under the the 2025 Beef Welfare Scheme, €282,795 was paid out this week.
This brings total payments to €28.09 million for 24,298 participants.
Under the 2025 Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC), €165,283 was paid this week.
Total payments to 97,924 farmers now amount to €246.37 million.
€60,000 was paid to Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) participants this week.
The total paid to date under ACRES is €745.88 million.
Under the Tillage Sustainability Support Payment 2026, €69,420 was paid this week.
This brings the total amount paid to €29.18 million, to 8,588 farmers.
The latest data from DAFM shows there was over €1.89 million issued to farmers for the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Schemes (TAMS 3) this week.
TAMS, which is co-funded by the EU, provides grants to farmers to build and/or improve a specified range of farm buildings and equipment on their holdings.
Under TAMS 3, 43,651 approvals have been issued to date, with 19,237 payment applications submitted and 16,361 total payments made.
Over €149 million has been paid out under TAMS 3 to date.
