Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning for Ireland and a Status Yellow rain warning for Mayo and Donegal for today (Saturday, April 4).
According to the forecaster, Storm Dave will bring “very strong southerly winds, veering westerly by the evening with severe gusts and coastal gales”.
The national wind warning is valid from 1pm today until 2am tomorrow (Sunday, April 5).

For Northern Ireland, the UK Met office has issued a Yellow Wind Warning for Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone, and Derry.
The UK Met office said that Storm Dave “brings a spell of very strong winds Saturday into Easter Sunday morning which may cause some damage and travel disruption”.This warning is valid from 2pm Saturday to 3am on Sunday morning.
Met Éireann has also announced a Status Orange wind warning for Wexford.
