The business is seeking a dynamic garden centre manager for its Raheen location in Limerick.

Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include leading by example in a safety-first culture, driving the safety agenda on site; delivering on customer experience; and optimising sales and the continuous improvement of the store.

The successful candidate should have a relevant horticulturist qualification; people management experience; a proven track record in retailing with strong product knowledge; and a keen understanding of the business with strong commercial awareness.

Area veterinary manager

Animal medicines producer Zoetis is looking for an area veterinary manager for livestock to work in the north and northwest areas of Ireland.

The role will involve delivering scientific and technical advice to farmers and veterinarians caring for cattle, sheep, and pigs.

The role will involve, among other things, building long-term, trusted relationships with farmers and vets; delivering tailored solutions to improve animal health, productivity, and business outcomes; and providing technical support, swift responses to queries, and offering diagnostic expertise.

The candidate needs to have a degree in veterinary medicine, while a certificate or specialisation in relevant disease areas is a plus. The candidate should also have a background in livestock practice (cattle and sheep are essential, pigs desirable).
