Large crowds gathered in the Green Glens Arena, in Millstreet Co. Cork this week for the 2026 Spring Farm Machinery Show.

The agricultural machinery and services exhibition show was back in the main hall for the first time since 2022, with an array of equipment on display for those with 'shiny metal disease'.

With over 90 exhibitors on site, there was an impressive variety of tractors, telehandlers, implements, technology, and services to see at the event.

Tractors

As spring creeps up, and tractors begin to roll out again, farmers and contractors were in their element with the selection of tractors on display.

Atkins farm machinery came in strong with a Gen three 516 Vario; the 163hp machine was fitted with front links, a cargo 4X 80 front loader, and much more, drawing the attention of many attendees.

Across from it, Atkins had its JCB Fastrac 6300 - the 335hp machine was recently named the top Machine of the Year at the LAMMA show in the UK.

Samco Agri Sales came with a range of Cases; however, the Case Puma 165 stole the show on their stand, a machine which can reach 220hp.

McCarthy Plant and Agri Sales were also in attendance with a range of Claas tractors, with its 205hp Claas 660 Arion catching the eye of many.

Cork Farm Machinery had both Massey 7s and 6s on display, offering up to 220hp.

Moving down the arena, Geary's had a fine collection of John Deere tractors, with the extra large frame 6M 250 being one of the stars of the show, offering up to 275hp, similar to the 6R series.

Across the way, Colemans of Millstreet had a large selection of New Holland's available, but the magnificent T7.300 PLMI Blue Power was by far a fan favourite, offering up to 340hp.

Paudy Buckley Tractors brought a range of Valtras, with the T195V offering up to 299hp at the show.

Meanwhile Ryall's Farm and Industrial equipment also had a Landini 6.135H on display, which tops out at 127hp.

Farm Machinery

A selection of telehandlers and front loaders were also a big attraction for visitors to the show.

Merlo had two machines on display through Jim Power Agri Sales, while H. Fulton Tractors also arrived with two Schäffer telehanders.

With slurry season back up and running, there was a variety of gear available to help tackle the season, from slurry tanks and dung spreaders, to agitators and slurry separators.

There was also a range of machinery to tackle the essential tasks, from fertiliser spreaders to sprayers, disc harrows, seeders, and more.

Of course, who can forget silage season fast approaching? A constant thought for dealers, who displayed balers, tedders, mowers, and zero grazers.

Diggers and dump trailers were not to be outdone and were popular displays alongside cow boxes and road sweepers.

Innovation

The 2026 Spring Farm Machinery Show also saw plenty of innovation as farming progresses with technology.

SprÉire highlighted the capabilities of its drone, which is used for fertilising and spraying tough paddocks.

CW Agri demonstrated its Splashit, which are splash plates that can be attached to the end of a dribble bar.

The same company also had a Rumbo Jet 880 spot sprayer on display, a system which identifies and sprays weeds only.

There were also GPS systems and autosteer systems on display, as well as systems to keep vermin away from agricultural machinery during the winter months.

Although the show has wrapped in Millstreet for 2026, it is going on tour and will be Balmoral next week and Cavan the week after, with over 600 exhibitors over the three days.
