Following last year’s event, West Women in Farming Ireland (WWFI) will play host to: Wine; Women and Wellies on Saturday, June, 23.
West Women in Farming Ireland will hold its AGM in The Arches Hotel, Claregalway, Co. Galway, on Monday, April 2 from 3:00pm sharp to 6:00pm.
Rural women face additional challenges to those affecting the general countryside population, said Dr Maura Farrell at a WWIFI event.
An education event will be held by West Women in Farming Ireland at the GMIT campus in Galway, on Thursday, January 25 from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
Farmers and members of the agricultural community who felt left out of the Christmas party circuit have their own festive gathering.
"Just as a wellie is made up of individual threads woven together, we need to be supporting fabric for women," said the WWFI Chairperson.
