As multiple cows are currently calving each day, there will more than likely be more colostrum available than needed.
With the vast majority of the calves already on the ground, farmers need to ensure November calves are still getting the care needed.
The spring calving period is underway and as more cows begin to calve down, the amount of colostrum left over will increase.
