Fire crews are battling a gorse fire in the Comeragh Mountains as high fire risk warnings remain in place across the country.
Tipperary County Council has reported “good progress has been achieved" in fighting the fire at Slievenamon.

Broadcaster Roz Purcell has said that her local community at Slievenamon in Co. Tipperary "would have been lost" without help from farmers.
The wildfire at Slievenamon has now spread into the adjacent Coillte forest, Tipperary County Council has confirmed.
Firefighting crews remain on site at Slievenamon today (July 21) following overnight operations to tackle a fire.
