A rise in the minimum wage will increase the cost for farmers according to Ulster Farmers' Union (UFU) president, David Brown.
Plans to up the agricultural minimum wage in Northern Ireland have been given the green light and will come into effect in April.
The minimum wage for farm workers in Northern Ireland is set to be increased from the beginning of April, according to DAERA.
