A new report from the Food and Drink Federation FDF revealed that UK food exports to the EU fell by a third compared to pre Brexit levels.
The 6.7% rise in the price of food and non-alcoholic drinks in the UK today has been described as "very sobering" by the FDF.
The food and drink sectors, in both Ireland and the UK, are calling for an early agreement on a future trade deal between the two countries.
