Over €3.1 million was issued by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) under the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Schemes (TAMS 3) last week.
The latest data published by the department shows that 43,504 TAMS 3 approvals had been issued up to Friday (March 27).
Almost 19,000 payment applications had been submitted, with 16,182 payments made.
Over €147 million has been now paid out to farmers under TAMS 3.
The department also issued a further €105,824 in payments under TAMS 2 last week.
As previously reported by Agriland, the department issued over €29 million last week to 8,554 farmers under the Tillage Sustainability Support Payment.
The scheme, which was part of a €50 million tillage package in Budget 2026, offered farmers between €50/ha and €110/ha, depending on how much land under tillage.
The latest data also shows DAFM issued over €617,000 under the 2025 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS).
118,559 farmers have now been paid a total of €841.2 million under these measures. The total figure includes the 2025 Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers of €36.7 million and the 2025 National Reserve of €2.9 million.
The department paid an additional €1.3 million under the Suckler Carbon Efficiency Programme (SCEP).
This brings the total payments in the 2025 scheme to €52.4 million to 15,717 farmers.
Almost €155,000 was issued last week under the 2025 Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC).
While an additional €900,000 was paid out for the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES).
Over €186,000 was issued under the Organic Farming Scheme (OFS) and almost €44,000 was paid out for the 2025 Straw Incorporation Measure (SIM).
