The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) issued over €2.9 million to farmers in various scheme payments last week.
The department said that an additional €552,493 was paid out under the 2025 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complementary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS).
118,204 farmers have now been paid over €835.96 million through these schemes.
The total figure includes the 2025 Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers of €34.3 million and the 2024 National Reserve of €2.8 million.
Over €1.1 million was issued last week to farmers participating in the Sheep Improvement Scheme.
16,667 farmers have now been paid a total of €18.05 million under this scheme.
The department also issued another €680,000 to farmers under the Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC).
This brings the total payments under these measures to almost €245 million to 97,433 farmers.
A further €310,000 was paid last week to Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) participants.
While DAFM issued €262,031 to farmers under the 2025 Straw Incorporation Measure (SIM).
