Chief commercial officer at FBD Insurance, John Cahalan, who was also at the official launch event, said: "FBD Insurance is proud to support events like this that bring the industry together and help farmers build more resilient businesses.”
Teagasc beef enterprise leader, Dr. Paul Crosson said: “We have seen a seismic shift in beef markets in the past year and this event will focus on the opportunities that this presents to Irish beef cattle farmers.
"We must of course remain conscious of the consumer demand for sustainable farm systems so backed by practical, applied research, the best advice for farmers to drive their businesses forward will be highlighted on Wednesday, July 1."
Head of Drystock Knowledge Transfer (KT) in Teagasc, Pearse Kelly said: “The latest suckler beef research, along with the trial work on dairy-calf-to-beef, will be showcased on the day so there will be something relevant and of interest for all cattle farmers, irrespective of their production systems.”
