Massey Ferguson has announced that seven new models will be joining its compact tractor range.

They include a new three-model MF 2M series, as well as two larger models increasing the MF 1M range.

Two further additions include new 1E.40 and 2E.55 models, replacing the 1750 E and 1755 E.

These additions will suit users that need a cost-effective compact option, according to Massey Ferguson.

The three MF 2M models - 2M.50, 2M.55 and 2M.65 - all display the latest Massey family styling, updated model numbering, and refreshed cabs and controls.

The two additional 1M.35 and largest 1M.40 tractor brings Massey's compact line up to nine models from 20-65hp.

According to Massey Ferguson, these compact models have:

Distinctive revised styling - grey sabre bonnet stripe integrates with latest high horsepower models;
New dashboard and revised styling that improve the operator environment;
A choice of mechanical or stepless hydrostatic transmission to suit the application;
1,600kg lift capacity and 48.1L/min hydraulic flow on MF 2M models.
Folding ROPS open platform and quiet cab versions to suit the operating environment;
Front linkage and power take-off (PTO) options for extra versatility;
Choice of agricultural and turf tires to match the task and terrain.

The manufacturers say the compact style makes them very suitable for confined spaces and "is perfect for yard tasks and field work on smaller farms".

Other user-friendly features include external PTO activation, PTO soft start, and PTO auto mode to enhance productivity.

For operators working in areas with limited access, these tractors deliver adaptability and comfort with low running and ownership costs.

All the latest models provide enhanced operator comfort, with new external styling and revised dashboard design with an improved layout and clearer display.

With updated hydraulic controls with distinctive, colour-coded labelling to ensure ease of operation, as well as and upgraded steering design.
