There will be limited bright spells in the coming days as low pressure continues to dominate, bringing spells of wet and often breezy weather, Met Éireann has said.
Today (Friday, January 23) will see some mist and fog patches early on. It will be a generally dull day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, and with just limited bright spells.
It will become breezy with moderate to fresh east to northeast winds, stronger near eastern and southeastern coasts. Highest temperatures will be 5° to 9°.

Met Éireann said there is some uncertainty in the detail for Tuesday (January 27), but current indications are that conditions will be cloudier and wetter further east, and drier with the best of any bright spells further west.
Highest temperatures on Tuesday are expected to be 4° to 8°, with light to moderate northwesterly or variable winds.
Beyond that, low pressure is set to continue to dominate Irish weather, bringing continued unsettled and mixed conditions, according to Met Éireann.
