The European Commission is currently seeking applications from companies wanting to join the next EU agri-food business mission to Singapore.
The mission, hosted by the EU Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI), will take place from April 20-23, 2026.
According to the commission, the purpose of the mission is to facilitate business-to-business contacts for the European agri-food sector.
Singapore is seen as "a strategic hub" for trade in southeast Asia and in the broader Indo-Pacific region.
Delegates on the EU mission will attend the Food and Hospitality Asia (FHA) and ProWine fairs in Singapore.
The visit will focus on improving understanding of Singapore’s import market access conditions, identifying new opportunities for EU products, along with retail and site visits.
The commission has invited, in particular, business representatives for products bearing a Geographical Indication (GI) or from the following sectors to apply:
The selection of the delegation will be based on product category and geographical balance and the size of the companies applying.
Priority will be given to businesses, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs), over associations, the commission said.
The deadline for interested agri-food companies to apply is Sunday, February, 1.
EU Commissioner for Agriculture, Christophe Hansen has encouraged companies to apply, adding "the work continues to diversify our market access".
