Over €7.3 million has been paid out in various farm scheme payments this week by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM).
The latest data published by the department shows that €3.5 million was issued to farmers under the 2025 Suckler Carbon Efficiency Programme (SCEP).
This brings the total payments under the scheme to €51.1 million issued to 15,557 farmers.
The department also paid out €1.2 million this week under the 2025 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS).
117,861 farmers have now been paid over €833 million in through these measures.
The total figure includes the 2025 Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers of €33.9 million and the 2024 National Reserve of €2.7 million.
There was a further €876,268 paid to farmers under the Eco-Scheme this week, bringing the total to €298.16 million issued to 115,954 farmers.
€108,096 was paid by the department to farmers through the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Schemes (TAMS 3)
Over 40,200 approvals have been issued under TAMS 3 to date, with 13,423 payments made.
DAFM said that €918,660 was paid this week to farmers participating in the Organic Farming Scheme (OFS).
An additional €500,000 was issued under Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES), while just under €200,000 was paid out for Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC).
