The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) paid out a further €28.09 million to farmers under the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) last week.
This means a total of €741.31 million has now been issued under the agri-environmental scheme to participants.
Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Martin Heydon previously confirmed that processing of 2025 advance payments under the scheme was ongoing and payment runs would continue into this month.
The latest data from the department also confirmed that €893,463 was issued last week in relation to the 2025 Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and Complimentary Redistributive Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS).
A total of over €830 million has now been issued to 117,596 farmers under these measures.
This figure includes the 2025 Complementary Income Support for Young Farmers of €33.6 million and the 2024 National Reserve of €2.6 million.
A further €1.5 million was paid out last week under the 2025 Eco Scheme, bringing the overall total to €296.85 million to 115,651 farmers.
€1.9 million was issued in payments to farmers for the Areas of Natural Constraint (ANC) and Areas of Specific Constraint (ASC).
There was also nearly €4.2 million paid for the 2024 Straw Incorporation Measure (SIM), along with €3,000 under the 2025 Protein Aid Scheme.
